Dog Boarding
Thumping Tails provides flexible dog boarding and other pet care services in the New York and Connecticut areas. Like people, dogs are all different, and we understand that dog owners want options. When boarding your dog with Thumping Tails, you have options regarding walking, jogging, and extra care—including a “cuddle time” package.
We understand the importance of communication so you can focus on work and other activities without worrying about your dog. We quickly respond to your questions and concerns. Our app allows you to receive daily messages about your dog, so you can stay up-to-date while you’re away. We’ll even send you some photos. Let us be your partner in providing the boarding experience your dog needs and deserves.
Policies and Procedures
We have vetted and experienced staff who are well-versed in all aspects of dog care. Our team takes the time to get to know your dog. We understand you want the best dog boarding experience possible. For our part, we have some policies you need to be aware of:
- Meet & Greet – We schedule an in-home consultation when you first sign up with us, enabling you to meet your account services manager and have a single point of contact
- Pet ID – Dogs are required to have either a physical tag attached to a collar or harness or a microchip number in their pet profile in the client portal
- Vaccinations – Your dog must have up-to-date vaccines with proof submitted on our client portal
It is our goal to give back. Our new subscription plan includes a donation of 10 percent of the proceeds to one of four local animal shelters of your choosing.
