Had a wonderful experience with Thumping Tales. We met with Mike to explain our needs in regards to having a dog sitter for our niece’s wedding. But since this was for an adult Bernese Mountain Dog we recently rescued who lived in a horse stall at an Amish Puppy Mill, it would not be an easy task. He did not have an easy start to his life & was terrified & anxious. So we had to make sure we started the process of getting him used to a specific sitter, months in advance. Mike suggested Rafael, who was absolutely wonderful. We set up visits with him, on a regular basis, eventually easing into longer time periods over several months. Each time Rafael knew exactly how to proceed in order to get our sweet boy to the point of feeling safe & comfortable with him. He even sent us pictures & updates with each visit. By the time the wedding came, we were totally comfortable leaving our sweet boy with Rafael for 8 hours. Highly recommend them & can’t say enough about just how kind, caring & patient Rafael is,
